VIVASTREET
TThe “VIVASTREET” project, which has been running since 2014, transforms ordinary street corners into stages for artists,
creating participatory art that breaks down the boundaries between performers and audiences.In today’s world,
people are constantly exposed to information and stimulation through media and the web, and in the process,
much of our analog sensibility and emotional space has been taken away.
Yet, everyone still lives with a desire for unexpected and extraordinary moments beyond everyday life.
When artists step into the streets, they offer audiences these moments of the extraordinary,
and by participating in them, audiences experience a new form of artistic encounter.
Happenings in the street go beyond artistic acts; they become meaningful forms of human connection.
The wall between artist and audience dissolves, and the street is transformed into an everyday space filled with new possibilities.
It invites us to reflect on the street as a place of free expression that transcends cultural differences, and as a powerful medium for shared artistic experience.
2014년부터 이어져 온 ‘비바스트릿(VIVASTREET)’ 프로젝트는 일상의 한 모퉁이,
즉 거리 공간을 예술가들의 무대로 변화시키며 관객과 예술가 사이의 경계를 허무는 참여형 예술을 시도해 왔습니다.
오늘날 사람들은 미디어와 웹의 영향으로 너무 쉽게 정보와 자극에 노출되어 있으며, 그 과정에서 아날로그적 감성과 여유를 점점 잃어가고 있습니다.
그럼에도 불구하고 누구나 일상에서 벗어난 특별한 해프닝을 기대하며 살아갑니다.
거리에 나온 예술가들은 관객에게 그러한 비일상의 순간을 선물하고, 관객은 그 안에 직접 참여함으로써 새로운 예술적 경험을 하게 됩니다.
거리에서 일어나는 해프닝은 단순한 예술적 행위를 넘어, 사람과 사람이 만나는 인간적 교류로서의 의미를 지닙니다.
예술가와 관객 사이의 벽이 허물어지고, 거리는 더 많은 가능성이 열리는 일상의 공간이 됩니다.
